| Let us introduce you to Macy. She is one of our rescue successes. She came to us severely under weight, wormy, with bad feet and depressed. In less than a year she is a healthy, happy, sound "fast" thoroughbred. This is our goal for all of those unfortunate equines that come to us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MISSION STATEMENT It is our mission at Sunrise Equine Rescue to be advocates for abused and neglected equines. To remove them from unhealthy and dangerous situations, then rehabilitate and retrain them so that they can be placed in loving forever homes. We focus on the education of the community and those who would like to own or care for an equine, to prevent further abuse. We will continue to educate ourselves for the betterment of our equine friends and those who care for them. We operate with the utmost professionalism, honesty and integrity.
